Internships in Business and Industry

Are you a junior or a senior in your major? Are you ready to go in to the work force for some extra learning opportunities? Have you identified an internship you would like to apply for or have already been accepted to? Do you need help finding internships?

EAST would like to offer you a stipend of $250, assistance with resume writing and interview skills, along with support for self-advocacy and accommodations within the workplace. All we ask for is a post evaluation of your internship, three work summaries during your work period, and a request (not a requirement) to be a part of our longitudinal research on students with a disability. Benefits for Interns:

In addition, through the ENTRY POINT! and ACCESS programs of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), EAST identifies, screens, and places undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities who are pursuing degrees in science, engineering, mathematics and computer science in paid internships. AAAS makes use of its existing networks and relationships with businesses and industry, such as IBM, NASA, Texas Instruments, and JP Morgan Chase.

The Internships In Business and Industry Application Form is available
