Mentoring
EAST facilitates a combination of mentoring arrangements among peers, between professors and students, and between students and scientists already established in their fields. Mentoring is an effective, iterative strategy in which established STEM professionals mentor graduate and undergraduate student. Online conversations and face-to-face meetings are beneficial, and ongoing interaction is important.
