Planning Your Project: Focus, fun and funding: Building your professional planning

This workshop is intended for faculty (and the staff with whom they work) who are interested in planning strategically to build a funded program of scholarship. Using a combination of lecture, media and audience participation, the grant-seeking process will be explored. Attendees will learn practical strategies for planning a program of scholarship, achieving economy of effort across academic commitments, and ideas for making the process more enjoyable and less stressful. Thinking Matters Conference

Friday, April 20, 2007

The public exchange of ideas is a central feature of university life. The purpose of the Thinking Matters conference is to provide a public forum for USM students and invited guests to share the results of student research, and in doing so, encourage student initiative and celebrate its result. It is also our hope that within this environment of academic challenge a sense of camaraderie will be fostered throughout the USM community.

The deadline to submit an abstract for Thinking Matters is 3/3
