Education & Training
RCG and its predecessors IRIS “B” and ELM have worked together with the Maine Department of Education, the US Department of Education, National Science Foundation, and other units at USM. Involved USM departments include the Department of Engineering, the College of Education and Human Development, Maine International Center for Digital Learning (MICDL).
Other groups include the Eastern Alliance for Science and Technology (EAST) and EAST2, Maine Department of Labor, and IBM. Additional work was conducted with Coastal Counties Workforce Inc.(CCWI) on education, training, and professional development initiatives with a broad range of participants including, but not limited to: K-12 students, K-12 teachers and administrators, college and university students, faculty and staff as well as individual citizens and displaced workers.
